Jalopnik Editor-in-Chief Matt Hardigree is none too happy about the new Zero Hedge article “Where the World's Unsold Cars Go To Die,” that seems to be going viral. He has every reason to be peeved considering the article is both factually incorrect and a basic rip-off of a story he wrote in 2009. Bottom line is the pictures are sweet so in the world of the internet, any pile of text around some sweet pictures can go viral before the truth comes out.

Hell, it was an awesome picture that brought you here! Click-throughs run on pictures (and putting “NSFW” in the headline, of course). But now you have this awesome opportunity to be the friend that snopes-es the crap out of all your friends by calling them out next time they share Zero Hedge’s crappy article.
