Tommy Boy (1995)

“I can get a good look at a T-bone by sticking my head up a bull’s ass, but I’d rather take a butcher’s word for it.”

This 90’s classic launched Chris Farley into a household name and David Spade tagged along for the ride. Here’s a link to Tommy’s hometown of Sandusky, OH.

Planes, Trains & Automobiles (1987)

“Those aren’t pillows”

Steve Martin plays the perfect angry stiff while John Candy delights as the well-meaning goof who seems to mess everything up in this heartwarming holiday odd-couple. Next time in Saint Louis check out Lambert International Airport where all the airport scenes were shot.

National Lampoon’s Vacation (1983)

Nothing beats the Muppets during the late 70’s… Jim Henson and Frank Oz were at the top of their craft in this classic that’s fun for the whole family. No trip to Hollywood is complete without a visit to Grauman’s… look out for Kermit (or at least his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame).

Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (2004)

“Did Doogie Houser just steal my fucking car?”

Rarely does such a stupid premise and quest turned out to make such a gem of a movie. Truly a must see for all fans of Cheech & Chong ilk.

Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan (2006)

“When you chase a dream, especially one with plastic chests, you sometimes do not see what is right in front of you.”
