Top 5 Makeout Rides at Disneyland

Don't even pretend like Disneyland is just for kids. There are plenty of grown-up things to do there, as well, and one of the best is making out. That's right, kissing. They don't call them "dark rides" for nothing! Here are the top five places to share the magic with your prince or princess.

Disneyland Railroad
Hop the train at Tomorrowland and get comfortable for a romantic ride to Main Street, U.S.A. On this leg of the grand circle tour of Disneyland, you'll rumble through a long, dark tunnel that features stretches of total darkness where you can put the steam in "steam train." Make sure you grab a seat in the back, left corner (facing the car) for the most privacy. All eyes will be in the opposite direction, watching for the baby dinosaurs and taxidermy porcupines.

Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln
Three score and zero years ago, our forefather brought forth in Anaheim a new theme park, conceived in creativity and dedicated to the proposition that kids and adults should be able to have fun at amusement enterprises. Let's don't let Mr. Disney down. In fact, let's honor his life's work by having 16 minutes of climate-controlled fun in the Main Street Opera House, home of Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln.

Haunted Mansion
It's no secret that the Mansion has always been a top choice for amorous Disneylanders. The vehicles' high backs and curved sides give lovers plenty of cover, and the slow-moving track provides ample time to explore regions beyond. There, you and your loved one can enjoy the gloomy darkness of your Doom Buggy as you drift through the story of love gone wrong. Just be sure you don't wander too far into unknown territory. In the spirit world, there's always someone watching.

It's Tough to Be a Bug
Lucky for daters, when people file into a theater, they all want to sit up front. It's no different in It's Tough to Be a Bug, an actually-pretty-good 3D movie with special effects. Make a bee line (ha!) for the back and find this attraction is a great one for parents to steal some kisses in. While the kiddies are entertained by cuddly ants and such, the adults can create grown-up entertainment on those long benches in the darkened theater. Just watch out for the hornets.

The Little Mermaid
There's really no question here. The ride literally demands it of you, so you go on and kiss the girl (or boy). For bonus points, wait until the song plays and then join Ariel and Eric in their firsts attempts at love amidst the fireflies and weeping willows.
