How to Celebrate Easter at Disneyland

When it comes to the sunniest Sunday of them all, Disneyland has got you covered. Easter eats, entertainment, and excitement are hopping your way now!

Gospel Brunch at House of Blues
First thing's first, definitely get your praise on at the Gospel Brunch, hosted by House of Blues. You'll start off Easter morning with an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet that features chicken & waffles, carving stations, southern specialties, and a selection of scrumptious desserts. They've even got a Bloody Mary bar, so you can build your own brunch beverage; after a couple of those, you might even find yourself onstage with gospel artists from around the area. They'll be celebrating with traditional and contemporary gospel songs handpicked by Grammy-winner Kirk Franklin, and you'll be celebrating too!

Chip 'n Dale Critter Breakfast
Another Easter breakfast opportunity awaits you in Downtown Disney at the Grand Californian Hotel, this one swarming with cute little Disney critters. Hosted by Chip and Dale, this character buffet is a perfect celebration of springtime. Enjoy a spread of savory morning favorites, as well as waffles, fresh fruit, and an omelet station – all in the cozy and bright atmosphere of Storytellers Café.

Spring Flowers and Gardens
When you're full from Easter breakfast, head into the parks and pay special attention to the explosion of beautiful flowers springing up all over Disneyland. Hanging baskets, colorful beds, and flowering trees are all in bloom and smelling heavenly. Consider taking some Easter photos at the recently reintroduced Flower Market of Main Street.

Disneyland Resort Egg-stravaganza Hunt
While you're taking your time on your own little Easter parade down Main Street U.S.A., don't forget to stop in to Disneyana or Disney Showcase and grab a map that will lead you on the all-important hunt for decorated eggs. For a small fee, you'll get a sheet with some stickers, and at the end of your hunt you can turn it in for a special surprise! Maps are also available at DCA and in Downtown Disney, including at the Disneyland Resort hotels.

Easter Treats
Disneyland does right by most holidays, especially in terms of edibles. Easter is no exception, and this year they're offering goodies that will make your at-home Easter basket super jealous. Stop into any park sweet shop for decorated apples, cake pops, candy bark, and more themed specialties.

Meet and Greet
Keep an eye out for rabbits! In years past, Disneyland has unleashed a warren of their famous bunnies to meet friends back in the now-closed Big Thunder Ranch area. In case they're wandering the park this Easter too, try to spot Br'er Rabbit, the White Rabbit, Thumper, Oswald, Roger, and more. Maybe Judy Hopps will even make an appearance; she's scheduled to receive visitors on Hollywood Boulevard over in DCA, so be sure to check!
