5 Ways to Live Like the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for a Day

Admit it—you've watched (or hate-watched) an episode or 32 of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," wondering what it would be like to lug around their Louis Vuitton handbags for a day while teetering in their Manolo Blahnik stilettos. Here are five places where and your friends can make that happen (in your Payless knock-offs, that is). To make your Beverly Hills Housewife experience truly authentic, be sure to get into catty fights with your friends at each location and trash other friends who aren't there to defend themselves.

1. Soak up the sun in Malibu

True, it's not Beverly Hills, but some of the housewives live here, too. Grab a couple of blankets (preferably cashmere), plop down on the beach and argue with your friends over who's the biggest backstabber. Gaze up at the hill alongside Pacific Coast Highway and see if you can spot the grove of lemon trees once tended to by housewife Yolanda Hadid.

2. Buy a loose-fitting garment at Kyle by Alene Too
Once you and your friends have hugged it out and are ready to amicably continue on your journey, take the 25-mile drive east to Beverly Hills. Pay a visit to housewife Kyle Richards' upscale boutique to browse or perhaps buy a muu-muu inspired by the ones the owner is so fond of wearing. Who knows, maybe Kyle herself will pop in with a Bravo camera crew to check on the inventory!

3. (Window) Shop on Rodeo Drive

Now that you've been bitten by the shopping bug, head on over to Rodeo Drive and longingly admire sparkly Cartier, Harry Winston and Tiffany & Co. merchandise you could only afford if you were way more successful and/or won the lottery and/or married a hotshot lawyer or luxury real estate broker or Grammy-winning producer.

4. Have a drink at SUR
The name of housewife Lisa Vanderpump's restaurant in West Hollywood stands for Sexy Unique Restaurant. Yes, that's kind of lame, as are many of the (neither sexy nor unique) tourists who crowd the place, hoping for a cellphone photo opportunity with a star of the reality show "Vanderpump Rules," which is filmed here. So have a quick drink or two at the bar, squabble with your friends about who doesn't have whose backs, and quickly move on.

5. Dine at Villa Blanca
Enjoy dinner at Villa Blanca, the more subdued (and literally least colorful—almost everything is white) of Vanderpump's dining properties. As you and your friends Google "Munchausen syndrome," munch on cuisine like spicy lobster and tiger prawns, truffle and mushroom risotto, and pan-roasted filet mignon. Just make sure a wine glass is angrily flung at someone before your evening ends.
