5 Ways to Celebrate Easter in Charlottesville, VA

When the Spring Equinox, with Easter close behind it, appears on the calendar, there are plenty of ways to celebrate and frolic in Charlottesville. From delicious Easter brunches to Easter crafts and games, the entire central Virginia area is alight with Easter fun. Here are five ways to celebrate Easter in Charlottesville:

Fry's Spring Beach Club Egg Hunt: Fry's Spring Beach Club, usually a members and guests-only swimming, recreation, and social club on Jefferson Park Ave. near UVA, opens its doors to all community members and neighbors on Easter weekend for several traditional egg hunts on the club grounds. A cash-bar and non-alcoholic beverages are available for the grownups.

Mudhouse Crozet Cake Decorating Workshop: Visit the Crozet branch of The Mudhouse Coffeeshop and Bakery for a fun and tasty Easter cooking craft. The beloved local coffee shop offers you a tutorial in the creation of bird's nest cupcakes complete with candy eggs. All ages are welcome and you will leave with four cupcakes. Tickets are available for purchase ahead of time.
