Pokémon Go Event in Rochester, NY

Genesee Country Village & Museum has been invaded by the Pokémon Go! characters. They are inviting all Pokémon fans to come over on July 29 between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. to catch 'em all. They are calling a Pokémon roundup and they want you to be there. Stroll around the museum and connect with two gymnasiums and seven PokeStops. The cost is only $5 per person for this exciting event. This will be on the grounds of the museum only, as the only buildings that will be open will be the restaurant for a bite to eat and the gift shop. Restaurant and Gift Shop
The Depot Restaurant will be open and ready to serve hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken fingers, ice cream, beverages, salads, and more. The full menu and prices are listed on their website. The Flint Hill gift shop will also be open to pick up a souvenir or some old-fashioned candy.

Pioneer Farmstead
Search the area of Flint Hill on the pioneer homestead where seven structures sit that the typical pioneer family used to serve their needs. These structures were built in the early 1800s and included a log cabin, a barn, and a log smokehouse. While you are looking for the Pokémon critters be sure to take a peek at everything in the area.
