Where to Watch College Football in Philadelphia


Philadelphia is a big college town with some intense rivalry when it comes to sports. The Temple Owls, the Penn Quakers, the Villanova Wildcats are just a few of the teams with their eye on the prize. Chickie's and Pete's
Chickie's and Pete's Crab House and Sports Bar is South Philly's top sports bar. The 24,000 square foot location boasts three bars, a 14-foot television and Chickie's and Pete's signature Crab Fries.

Piazza at Schmidt's
It's hard to miss the game thanks to a 40-foot LED television. Bring a lawn chair or sit at one of the many bar/restaurants surrounding the Piazza including Gunners Run, P.Y.T. Bar and Burger Joint and Darling's Diner.

Fox & Hound
It's all sports, all the time at the Fox & Hound. Surrounded by televisions and die-hard fans, fans can enjoy a beer and a bite to eat at this massive sports bar. Specials include cheap beers and cheap eats like $4.00 burgers or $5.00 for half a rack of ribs.

Drinkers West
With two bars and multiple floors, Drinker's West is a prime spot for sports fans in University City. Before the game, fans can play some pool or pinball, then enjoy $1 hot dogs as they cheer on their team.

Draught Horse
This pub is on Temple University's campus and caters to the college football fan. With over 50 draft cans and 17 drafts, there is plenty of beer to go around. During games there are all sorts of food and drink specials like 75 cents drafts.
