In Terminal 2 you will find the exhibition Interwoven. displaying Navajo weaving.
Terminal 3 exhibits 100 Years 100 Ranchers, a collection of photography of ranchers in Arizona.
Terminal 4 houses a few changing exhibitions, in a gallery, as well as in display cases throughout the terminal.

Visit Pueblo Grande Museum

If you have enough time to leave the airport, visit Pueblo Grande Museum, less than two miles from the airport. Visit a Southwestern Archaeological Park and museum and learn about the ancient people who lived here long before Phoenix had an airport, or was even a city. You can get there easily even if you don't take a taxi by riding the Phoenix Sky Train to the Valley Metro Rail Station at 44th St and Washington, from where you can walk to the museum.

Visit the Arizona Science Center

The Arizona Science Center is only about three miles from the airport, and it is a great place to have fun for a few hours, especially if you have kids with you. It is a bit pricey, but worth it if you have enough time to explore it. Taxis are available to take you there, but the Valley Metro Rail gets there easy enough and you can connect to it from the free Phoenix Sky Train.

Take A Walk in Heritage Square District

As you walk out of the Science Center, or if you don't have enough time for the exhibits, just take a stroll through Heritage Square District, the only remaining residential structures from the original town of Phoenix. They have been reconstructed and at this time some of them are museums. Visit a few of them if they are open, like the Rosson House Museum, a fully restored Victorian House built in 1895.

Go Kart Racing at K1 Speed Phoenix

If you like go kart racing, K1 Speed Phoenix is only 1.4 miles from the airport, and it offers an opportunity to do something fun while waiting for your next plane.
