Philadelphia International Airport Perks for Business Travelers

Traveling for business is not always as glamorous as it sounds. Often, the only parts of a city a person gets to see, is the airport and their hotel. Traveling for work will probably always be time restricted and stressful, but it can have it's advantages as well. The Philadelphia International Airport offers services and amenities to help make life a little easier for those traveling on business.

Sign up for TSA Pre-check
If you travel more than three times a year, and you want to save yourself some time and hassle, then you will definitely want to take 5 minutes to apply online. Stroll on by those hundreds of other passengers waiting endlessly in line, place your bag (with your laptop still inside) on the belt and walk through the scanner without even taking off your shoes. It's about as V.I.P. as you can get at the airport.

You Don't Have to Break A Sweat, Unless You Want To
Traveling on business not only takes a toll on your schedule, but on your body as well. It can be difficult to maintain a healthy lifestyle when you're always on the go. If you won't have time to workout in the hotel's fitness center, or you just want to burn off the Cinnabons from the food court, get your workout on at the airport. The 30 stationary bikes that are placed throughout the terminals are also a great way to loosen up stiff muscles after a long flight.

Relax With Spa Services
If you're flying into PHL, shortly before a big meeting or event, then head towards terminals C,D or F to an XpresSpa, and take a shower to get that "plane smell" off. Or just get a manicure or pedicure, facial, waxing, or your hair done. They also offer a variety of massage services, to help melt away the tensions of work and flying.

Take a Nap or Get Some Work Done
If you're going to be stuck at the airport for awhile, you might as well put your time to good use. Cozy on up in a Minute Suite located at the A/B terminal link, and escape to your own private oasis. Use the computers and Wi-Fi in the work station to prepare for your upcoming presentation, or take a nap with fresh pillows and blankets on the daybed. A sound-masking system in each suite neutralizes noise, and the unique NAP26Tm audio program helps deliver the equivalent of three hours of sleep in only 26 minutes. It sure beats awkwardly trying to sprawl out across multiple seats in the terminal waiting area, while people glare at you.

Join the Admiral's Club
There's a lounge in every terminal, it's quiet and has unlimited coffee. If you don't feel like isolating yourself in one of the Minute Suites, the Admiral's Club offers computer workstations, Wi-Fi, as well as food for purchase. The lounges in terminals B/C and F also have conference rooms for booking.

Earn Free Parking
If you prefer to drive yourself to and from the airport, then sign up for the Colonial Airport Advantage Card/Frequent Flyer Program. Every time you scan your card, you'll automatically receive a 10% discount and earn points towards free parking and/or car washes. In addition, you'll enjoy faster access in and out of the parking area, and you can easily keep track of your points on their website.
