Best Venues to Watch Local Bands in Fort Worth


Fort Worth offers a melting pot of live music. And though country music is obviously a big scene in Cowtown, audiences pack out bars, clubs and restaurants to hear up-and-coming acts ranging from jazz and blues, rock, eclectic and mainstream sounds. Here are a few local favorites:

Billy Bob's Texas
Both locals and tourists pack this destination place at 2520 Rodeo Plaza, known as the world's largest honky-tonk. Besides the indoor rodeo arena, Texas-sized dance floor, and full restaurant, this venue regularly packs a crowd for top names in country, blues and rock.

Railhead Smokehouse BBQ
This BBQ joint just west of the city limits at 120 S. Ranch House Road in Willow Park has become one of the most sought after venues by the hottest musicians in Texas.
