Five Restaurants in NYC to Wear a Pantsuit

Love her or hate her, there is no arguing that Hillary Clinton is famous for her pantsuits. While she is well known for being close-mouthed on many other issues (hence the scandals regarding her health, her emails, and the real role of the Clinton Foundation), she is completely open and forthcoming about her love of the pants and jacket combo.

There was a time, of course, when society frowned on women wearing pants and some restaurant dress codes forbade them. But times have clearly changed, and it is hard to imagine that wearing a pantsuit would prevent Clinton from being welcome at any eatery these days. This is particularly true in New York City, where Clinton has her presidential campaign headquarters.

So where should you go in New York to show solidarity with the pantsuit? Why not check out one of Hillary's favorite spots? These are five NYC restaurants that are said to be on her list of favorites:

RAO'S
Rao's in Harlem is notoriously hard to get into. But Clinton listed in a Thrillist article as one of her top places to eat.

RED ROOSTER
Red Rooster, also in Harlem, also received a shout-out in Thrillist, not only for the tasty food, but
owner Marcus Samuelsson promotes healthy eating (which Hillary supports, although she confesses that, like many of us, she doesn't eat as healthfully as she should).

HILLSTONE
With locations in both Midtown and the Flatiron district, Hillstone serves great veggie burgers that Clinton's husband loves.

ROBERTA'S
Roberta's, a pizzeria in Bushwick, Brooklyn, is associated with the Clintons because they hosted an event there for a prominent member of the Democratic Party.

JUNIOR'S
Junior's has been also been featured in campaign events. Does Hillary love their famous cheesecake? She wouldn't eat it in front of reporters during a campaign stop, saying "I learned early on not to eat in front of all of you."
