Murray's - A cafe housed in a gorgeous former church (with stained glass windows!) Murray's is perfect for a yummy sandwich, a place to work on your laptop, and a well-framed photo of your latte.

Morgan's Cat Cafe - One of the newest additions to the businesses of Red Hook, Morgan's Cat Cafe has everything you could want - Coffee, delicious vegan food, and awesome, lovable kitties (who are all available for adoption!) Just be careful or you might end up bringing home a new friend.

Twin Peaks Coffee and Donuts - Named for two nearby mountains (and not the TV show,) Twin Peaks Coffee and Donuts is a gem of a restaurant, famous for its piping hot, fresh donuts. When you order, you get to choose your own delicious toppings. Bonus: the donuts are really pretty and definitely worth a photo or two!

Last Chance Antiques & Cheese Cafe - Last Chance is a comfortable restaurant serving hearty food, including over 100 types of cheese and over 300 types of beer! The funky knicknacks and antiques that decorate the venue make it perfect for some unique photos.

Beacon

Dia:Beacon - If you live in the Hudson Valley and you haven't been to Dia:Beacon yet, you must go! This contemporary art museum is housed in an old Nabisco box printing factory, and the space in and of itself is pretty impressive. They always have interesting large-scale art pieces there. Make sure to get a photo by the Richard Serra exhibit when you go!

Bank Square Coffeehouse - Bank Square is the perfect specimen of an independent coffee shop, with its comfy seating, cool events, and great coffee and food. Whether you're there to meet a friend for a bite to eat, to get some work done, or just to people-watch, you'll want to stay and hang out for hours.

Rhinebeck Farmer's Market - The Rhinebeck Farmer's Market is only open on Sundays during farmer's market season, (and check their website for exact dates,) but it's one of the most Instagrammed spots in the Hudson Valley due to the variety of beautiful food, flowers, and handcrafted items sold by the vendors. Make sure to grab a taco while you're there!

Samuel's Sweet Shop - A Rhinebeck tradition, Samuel's is home to delicious candy, coffee, and lunches. If you stop in for a bite, you might get lucky and run into the shop's owners, Paul Rudd and Jeff Morgan (yes, that Paul Rudd and Jeff Morgan.) Word is, if you ask nicely, they might be down for a picture, too.

Millbrook

Innisfree Garden - Recognized as one of the "world's ten best gardens," (and a favorite of Martha Stewart,) Innisfree is a gorgeous, Chinese style stroll garden - Perfect for a picnic, a walk, and of course, Instagramming!

Trevor Zoo - This small zoo is perfect for kids and adults alike, and you're guaranteed to get some awesome pics out of it. What's better than a photo of an adorable red panda? Answer: Nothing.
