Hikers, bikers, joggers, and outdoors enthusiasts of all stripes will find hundreds of enjoyable outdoor activity in and around Austin.

A moderately arduous hike to the top of Mount Bonnell results in stunning overlooks for sightseers, while a quiet paddle around Ladybird Lake lets vacationers and locals alike take in some candid views of the city.

A trek across the hike and bike trail, through one of the greenbelts, or people-friendly Zilker Park also offers casual sightseers and naturalists with lovely visuals from ATX.

Picturesque Artwork
As a naturally artsy city, the denizens of Austin are encouraged to express themselves in every way, which includes enjoying the artwork scattered throughout town.

Murals haunt much of the University of Texas campus and trendy SoCo area, while the Mexic-Arte Museum and Laguna Gloria display more traditional works.
