ACT Theatre in Seattle Hams It Up for the Holidays

The holidays are a perfect time to take the time and watch the classic Christmas plays performed on stage. Many families have been doing it for years, making it a tradition that lives on from generation to generation.

ACT Theatre has been known to produce one of the best classic plays over the Christmas season, Charles Dickens', "A Christmas Carol." It has become a yearly tradition for many families and hopefully ACT continues to bring this masterfully told story to the stage for many years to come.

What has also become a tradition is another ACT holiday production, "Ham for the Holidays." This year the official title is, "Ham for the Holidays: Jurassic Park" so you can see that this is not your parent's time-honored holiday fare.

There will be no Ebenezer Scrooge in this romp of a play. The characters in this production fall more along the lines of a dysfunctional mother-daughter country duo called The Spudds.

Wherever your holiday tastes may lie this season, ACT Theatre definitely has you covered.

Visit ACT Theatre for more information on both "A Christmas Carol" and "Ham for the Holidays."
